i have a free life jacket/jacket. its a Stearns medium size. its bright orange, very warm, has a hood. its like a jacket but is made from floating stuff like a life vest. would be good for running juglines in the winter. its free.

I'd like to have this if you still have it. It should fit my wife and this winter she will need something warm.

Ben, where do you find those XXXXXXLs? Might need to get me one too.

In all seriousness, I guess we should all wear one. I don't when I have fished in the past, but that last trip to Anahuac with that North wind convinced me, along with some advice from others, that I might just need to invest in one.

I'm so worried about hanging one of those big hooks in me, off the trotline, that I make sure that I have a knife and some needlle nose pliars to be able to get off of it, if I get hung up in it.

Drowning didn't cross my mind. I usually set and run my lines with my motor out of the water. If I fall out and the wind is blowing like it was, i'd never be able to catch it. Well, it just made me think a little, well, actually alot.

So If anyone can recommend a good form fitting floatation device, that I can fish in comfortably, I'm all ears........

I'd love to have it but maybe I better let one of the other guys have it. League City is a pretty fair chunk from the north side of Conroe.

Well, if someone is headed back this way and wouldn't mind dropping it off somewhere I would be glad to meet them somewhere, anywhere.
I'd be much obliged to both parties.

not sure bout flounders but i would prefer it to get colder. the waters still in the low 70's. i wait till the birds and topwater bites slows from the cold then chase flounders. im headed down to POC this weekend. still have the jacket but leaving Fri afternoon.

I thought I had replied to this earlier this morning but don't seem to find it.
What I said was...If someone happens to be headed back this way from hitting the flounder and wanted to bring it back part way I would be much obliged to both parties.
I really would appreciate it!
