Pardon my stupidity, but what do you mean by on to the taxes? I'm not a salt water fisherman, but it does look like that fish is marked.....is there some money associated with catching it?

I won a 2008 22 ft LTS - Triton boat and a 2008 4 door F-150, I have to pay taxes on the winnings.

Man, you are one lucky dude!! If you didn't owe so much in taxes already, I would say that you need to go to the casino. But, you know, after further thought, you could sell one of them to pay taxes, and still go load up at the casino. LOL

RECONER congrats on the catch i have been after one of them for years. where were you fishing when you caught that red?? if you dont mind me asking. im headed out this weekend to try to catch me one before the tournament ends. i probably wont find one but you never know. by the way what are the taxes on the boat and truck package you won. i always wondered how much you would have to shell out if you actually won. anyway congrats again thats one fish you will never forget.

I think the causeway bridge in galveston on finger mullet. Good luck I'll probably be down there myself somewhere tryin one last time!

The fish was caught at the railroad bridge on the Houston side. We wer'e using large mullet- (6-to 8 inch). This took place at the hottest part of the day, we wer'e fishing around the bridge ( lots of structure) As for the taxes I will find out at the awards banquet upon receiving the boat and the truck.

Fish the structure around the bridge with the lightest weight possible. When we caught these fish the wer'e hitting like perch
