FIRST of The Texas BIG 3

Man this is the first actual Saltwater game fish i caught here in Texas...(La Porte)

I used a Gulp Shrimp on a Bottom rig.. ...felt a definete strike ... reeled in .. it felt like i was snagged on something heavy .... cool catch!

The Texas Big 3... 1 down, 2 to go...

Great job basshog. I haven't saltwater fished in a while much less caught a flounder.Thanks for sharing

thanks yall.... When I first moved out here a few years ago i missed Arizona alot and wanted to go back, but Now I JUST LOVE the Texas Outdoor Life ! This is a Blessed State... It has Freshwater Lunkers, Saltwater Game, Forrests, Beautiful lakes (Love Amistad) Big Bucks, raging Hogs, etc...

And I feel my Outdoor Quests in Texas Haven't even Begun... Can't wait when I get a Good Boat and Truck! Plannin' some Major Road trips ALL OVER TEXAS ! I need to get another camera since my wife is usually in possesion of my current one (missed alot of good pics)

oh.. i used a "new Penny" Gulp Shrimp... the flounder got hooked really well... And HE WAS GOOD EATING! Had a fat fillet for dinner, and had some for Lunch at work... Ah... The Taste took me back to the moment i caught him, a short escape from work...lol

man a few days ago I tossed a topwater pop "r" at morgans point in la porte and Caught a BIG Speckeled Trout, I was Completely BLOWN AWAY ! it was amazing, IT FOUGHT LIKE A COMMANCHE ! Easily beating the biggest bass i've caught. Took out plenty of Line from my TIGHT DRAG ! AWESOME ! And then an hour later i waded in a sandy calm beach area with a Gulp shrimp and nailed a keeper Redfish. Now i am hopelessy ADDICTED to Saltwater Fishing ! Thanks u Pesky Specks n Reds ! I want to find some Good wading areas near La Porte for next time i go out. Oh the only sad thing about these fish is i moved to a different apt, and we still haven't found our camera so sorry for no pics, next time though i should have it.
