I need your coments on this new window website decal that was given to me, i think it is great, what do you all say??

Ok Steve I gonna post this one then it's yours, folks this is Steves project/gift and I do not want to take credit on something this nice special.
I would like a little red reflective tape on the top of the jug so folks can see it at night, maybe extend the pvc enough for the tape .I'll see if Corey has time to make one and i'll dispaly it on my truck then we can start taking orders.

Here's the one you asked for with the red reflector tape on it Ben. Let me know if this looks right. It has some junky spots that I need to clean up but here it is "fast and dirty" so to speak. =)

Cool! That's exactly what I was trying to get it to look like instead of it just floating around. Added a little bit of "Fish on! excitment or so I had hoped it would.

Hey Ben, It's still very much a gift so just do with it whatever you like. On the other hand, if it ever makes it to the sticker stage I'd sure like a copy for my 1967 Ford "diplomatic vehicle" since I'm FishingTX's unofficial ambassador to another state. :lol:

I wish y'all could see my wall paper. I tried to post but it won't let me send a bitmap image. When I changed it to Jpeg, it distorted. Anyway it's classy. Maybe one of you computer geeks can figure it out for me. :?:

You did an excellent job on the logo, what program did you use for the design and layout.

The star is in the wrong place. It needs to go up and right. Send it to the back and put the corner of the jug in the front, if need be.

Dwayne, This is actually Ben's baby so if he's cool with making further updates then so am I. All I have is MS paint and IPhoto4 to work with so I'm really limited to say the least.

Dan, I don't understand the phrase "to the back". If this is about layering, my progs are super old and they can't do layers. I'm limited to draw and fill work on my machine because I'm too cheap to buy Paintshop Pro or Photoshop.

Looks like a roll of toilet paper floating in the water to me . . . with the roller still on it! :lol: I think you should add a small catfish and attached line/hook underneath it, just to help define it a little better. Other than that . . . great idea!

I thought about the catfish below it thing, but the idea was wwwaaayyy too close to another design and I wanted to avoid stirring up that wasp nest at all costs. =)

Ok Larry here they are. If you were talking about your name being messed up you have to just keep working with panit some of the font turn out that way when you change it to a Jpeg. You can see the fishing TX is clear so it just the font you used for you name. but here they are

Larry I use my Camra software to change the BMP over to JPEGS

I use photoshop for most of my work but most printers and scanners will also have software that will allow you to make some changes.

That's the same look I got Don. Sure doesn't do it justice, does it? I think that I can run the jpeg back into paint and clean it up. Maybe tomorrow. Thanks for trying.

I agree that it is similar to another sites log but i assure you it is not their design. The State of Texas logo has been around for 100 years and is painted on 1000 different items at any arts and crafts shop and since it is my baby(Flatcats quote) it will stay the same, until i see a different one i like better.
Cajun Dans idea; i would like to see on paper.

I just ran the Jpeg into paint, cleaned it up and saved it. It came out the same way after saving. Oh well, I tried.

A lot of the time there is going to be some clarity issues when working with bitmaps and converting them. If you have the ability to work with layers as in photoshop or some other programs it will help to eliminate the blurred text.

No love potion for me Ben . . . think I ran out of that stuff a long time ago! What I meant was . . . to a non-fishing person who might see the logo, it might look more like a roll of paper bobbing in the water. If you put a hook/line/fish underneath it, then that ends all the questions. Just my opinion though.

There seemed to be some objections so I offered this. If Ben and the gang like the addition to the jug, maybe you can run it back through your process. One thought is that to the unknowing eye, the jugs are an "I don't know what that is", but I think that most people have heard of jug fishing.????? I know that I have had fishermen stop and ask me what those things are and they were all interested, including one local guide that took a good long look close up. Just a thought here. :?:

I was working on a few the other day when a few friends stopped by, they are really interested in the jug setup. They are a good way to start a conversation and to get someone interested in fishing.

This is, of course, is just a proto type or what is called 'research and developement' stage. I don't know if anyone even wants to use it or expand on it but it sure looks good as wallpaper! Thanks Dwayne!

If you want me to play around with it or make some changes to it for another example to look at just send me a copy of the original file and I will make a few changes and create another example to look at. That is a good looking design.

If you want me too just attach the file and send it to my email address and I will fiddle with it over the next few days.

LOL.....I like the first one just fine guys...I still want 2...This one is nice but I dont like the yellow star LOL..sorry Im not a yellow person.

It is a nice layout, if yellow is not the color we could make it something else, I have a few ideas that I am working on as well I will get them posted soon for everyone to see.

It will have to be cleaned up Cheryl and the colors will determine the price. I don't know if Steve can clean it but Dwayne has it and is working on it. I can clean it enough to make it look good here but not print copy. So anyway, the jug coming all the way through? That was the real question anyway I think.
