Anyone know where some good spot fishing at night time in Freeport that has light? I only fish at Freeport in day time and haven't in night time. We going to spend sat night and sun afternoon fishing in freeport. We trying to find a place to fish for night time and in early morning we heading to surfside jetty for some drum and sheephead.

I have never bank fished at night there but I launch my big boat there. One thing that I can tell you for sure is the mosquitos there will carry you away. Take plenty of deep woods off 100% deet but don't use that concentration on kids and a pint or two of pack red blood cells for your transfusion. Good Luck and God Bless.

Has anyone try to fish under the San Luis pass channel bridge for some sheephead this time of the year? The sheephead usually go under the bridge to eat the stuff that is attach to the concrete or rocks. Last couple months I was at San Luis and saw a good spot to fish under the bridge but it was just sand? Can the boat go under the bridge to the other side? I think the sheephead are around surfside to because all the rocks
