First and foremost get you a box of ammo for your favorite weapon of defence choie
check your portable generator for fresh gasoline and oil get some extra gas
get couple xases of water ,depending on your family size , a case of 24 for each occupant for a week
canned goods
if you dont have firewood get some charcoal or comr see me
even though the wind is minimal at ground level secure any loose buckets and stuff so it dont ome thru yoou unprotected windows
keep your boat gassed up and ready for action
fresh batteries for flashlight and phones
remember your home wireless will not work without power
make sure your daily meds are plenty

if anyone has ,ore just add to list

How are you folks down south? This rain is showing no mercy. Looks like Houston might get a small break.

Here in Splendora it has been off and on rain for days now. Tonight it is still coming down hard.

I haven't been anywhere today. End of road was flooded so I just stayed inside watching the news coverage. Seeing all the damage and folks affected is tough to see. Great seeing so many helping when they can.
