Where is all the trout ?? I hear people talk about them.
Lonestarbeer proabaly goona be one of our saltwaer specialist , besides waterspout ,of course :D

The trout are in the water! NO they scattered right now waitin on hunting season to start so all the pressure will go hunting and I can catchem. There are alot of dinks schooled up in the bays but the bigger fish are scattered. It's pretty though right now if you have no patients. I am waiting for it to start coolin down so the shrimp will start to move out of the marsh then it get easy, fishin under the birds is fun for the wife and son. My son doesn't have much patients, if he aint catchin he's ready to ride or swim or go home.

ANY OF YA TROUT FISHERMEN WANNA TAKE A YANKEE REDNECK ON HIS FIRST SEA TROUT ADVENTURE? I BEEN IN DFW FOR 30 YEARS AND NEVER BEEN OCIAN FISHING.

went last fri nite and hit two piers cuz it was too dang windy to put in the boat. caught about 25 undersized speckled trout and 1 undersized mangrove snapper. getting a lot of good reports on the redfish, but i have been having a long run of bad luck and havent been catching jack ****.

Sorry Gator :shock: don't know why i said that :lol: must have had a senoir moment. :lol: :D Folks he ain't just whistling dixie, that is a huge man, in a 20 ft boat, he makes it look like my John boat. we had no idea of a Gator in the pit with an aapple in his mouth and an onion in the othere end hahsahahhheehheheh. :mad: :o Give me shout when you get back , we'll got try Trinity River in Liberty or even Day lake- Don't think we can jug los Patos anymore due to the feds taking it over :lol:
