skyline drive is just to the left before the texas city dike. in march years past, some monster trout head to this area to spawn i guess. we've had lots of luck here with trout. do to this ever lasting, relentless wind i haven't waded there yet this month. be careful wading as this can be a dangerous place with deep holes. better to use a boat. if you park on the left side just as you enter the dike it is much shallower (knee to waist deep).

And have somebody hide in the car with a .45 cause the thieves hit cars/trucks there on a regular basis.

oh yes how right you are. my friend had his car broken into there. didnt realize it was so bad that others have experienced the same problem. did i mention i really dislike thieves.

fished here thurs. afternoon. was blown out and no fish. we moved to the other side of the dike. we waded waist deep. 1 red, 1 bl drum and mucho sand trout.
