wow........can you say high pucker factor?

are you able to get the hooks back or is that just the cost of fishing like bait......LOL

almost didn't recognize you without the cowboy hat..........seriously, you look like you are having a blast. thanks for the pics.

The smaller ones ya can manhandle gently,,,,,,The bigger ones @ 4 feet and up or depending how mean they are,,, ya cut the leader.and save yer fingers....
By the way all, those in the pics from Sat and Sun were CPRed.....

i have always heard the expression no guts no glory well you got lots of guts and the pics prove the glory way ta go man to darn close to a mouth full of sharp teeth for me

i think the limit is 2 per boat how do you string one lol,, black tips can give a show and pull,, walk on water,, nice reds too looks like everyone had a blast,,if you were off bolivar ,, tarpon play there too ,, great pics and adventure

Wow Randy, that looks scarey to me but I am sure glad you are having fun. Thanks for the great pics cause that is the only way I am going to see that happening. Nice fish!!

Great pictures. I've not met Jolly Roger, but I assume he was in the group. Gang, there's a bunch of kayak fishermen who fish the Gulf, some going a couple of miles out to close in rigs. Its a growing sport. In California, they don't have the shallow bays we do in very many places, there the go pretty far off shore and fish. I've wanted to do it, but don't have the equipment, the right kayak, or the money for gas. My wife says I need more life insurance too.

wow,THOSE ARE SOME GREAT LOOKING FISH!? Nice Red too! We are doing a run out there this Tues. Any tips- bait, how far out?

We were using cut mullet and ray for bait, on a 16/0 circle hook, steel leader (4 to 5 feet long, under a ballon. for the shark..
The reds were caught off the bottom, on mullet. water was any where from 12 to 18 plus feet deep. @ 1/2 to a mile out. ya might have to move around some......
