Nice going. That's why I gave up fly fishing the spots I fish. Caught tons of weed fish and fly wasn't in the water. Lol. I still love seeing them hit the fly in your videos. Very cool to see them smash the top water plugs.

Fish from Toledo Bend. The water is about eight feet low, judging from the piers and docks being completely on dry land.

Rio Grande Cichlid ... the only Cichlid native to the U.S.A.
They aren't invasive in Texas (their home range). The Louisiana anglers who catch them over there ... well, they consider them invasive and blame Texans!

This time change pretty much stopped my afternoon fishing trips. Dark by the time I get out of work.
Back home ... conditions jsut not very good. Bright skies, cold nights, full, bright moon and water's really high.
