Thanks Gentleben; glad to be here, I Bass fish a lot at Lake Houston, its close and Ponderosa is a good place to launch. in fact I went early Sat. the 25th, Caught 1 small bass early. Water from the mouth of Luce to Ponderosa looked pretty good.

I am not a bass phisherman but i can show where bees a few of em, nice uns !!

Going up the East fork towards Huffman is a hit or miss on all the shifting sand bars

I do good catching bass in 6ft or less. Never did get the hang of fishing deeper with crankbaits. Sand bars do seem to hold lots of fish of all types though.
