FishingTx Administration Team
As all of you know, FishingTx is a very popular Web Site and has some very dedicated members in its ranks. With growth also comes growing pains. The need for some restructuring has arisen and some members may be called upon for this restructuring.
FishingTx will no longer have one person designated as the Site Administrator. A Site administration is being formed and will consist of me, two moderators and two members. The Administration Team will over see the entire Forum and will have the discretion as a team on any decisions, policies, rules or issues that may effect the day to day operations of FishingTx. The WebMaster will have input and may, at times make final decisions as needed.
Let me be the first person as a member of FishingTx.com's new Administration, to thank everyone for all the encouragement and support. Fishingtx. was and is a Family oriented fishing information site and at times we lose focus. The FishingTx Administration is going to guide us in a positive direction. Some of the Goals for us are :
Promote Fishingtx as a Family and community based Fishing information resource.
Develope a working relationship with fellow Fishing Forums.(many of our members are also members of other fishing sites and they should feel comfortable with participating in those venues as well as on FishingTx)
Promotion of FishingTx via Internet promotion, membership drives, community events such as participating in Tournaments, Camp Outs, Get-Togethers, and seminars.
The Administration will work closely with all the moderators and assist in the overall operation of FishingTx.com
The Administration may develope some new guide lines for advertising and posting. These guide lines will not be intended to eliminate or offend any member or guest. The need for some of these revisions are for the betterment of FishingTx.com and it's members. If you are effected by some of the policies implemented, and feel there should be an exception, please contact a staff member, from Moderator on up. The issue will be addressed by the Administration, as a Group/Team and a fair resolution will be accomplished.
It would be difficult to post criteria and or guide lines for positions as Site Administrators. If you are interested in being a part of FishingTx.com's Administration, submit your request.I have had several discussions with some members and the consensus is, this would be good for FishingTx.Com. Several members and moderators will be called upon to help in the selection process.
