Abandoned boat
I was looking for a spot to bank fish on Caney Creek today and found this. It is going to take a real big bag to haul this off.
It is licensed in Louisiana, I just can't imagine how it got to New Caney. :icon_confused: Is it legal to grab abandoned boats and fix them up? Not that I want to, but someone may.

if it was me i would notify the local police. it looks like it may have been stolen. if "someone" was to be caught with it i assume they could be charged with possesion of stolen property "if " it was reported! I could be wrong but proof of purchase "bill of sale" is necessary for regirstation. and besides, trying to repair fiberglass is messey!! I KNOW, I TRIED!

Can you tell me where that boat is please?
-
Yes, it is in New Caney, under US59 @ Caney Creek, on the northbound side.

I saw that boat last Sunday on the way home from Livingston. I just caught a glimps though at 65mph.

Another bank angler may be helping to solve a crime. Good job, Susan.
-
that boat looks like it has seen better days.
-
many boats where abandoned during the Katrina / Rita evacuation.
In Texas retitling boats, motors, and trailers without paperwork can be a p.i.t.a.
