I heard that Cigars work well too. I've never tried it, but I can see the concept.
A bad day of fishing is better than a good day at the office!!!!

I have used cigars for several years to keep the moisture under control, my dad showed me that when i was just starting out. Seems to work really well and if the mosquitos get really bad you can fire it up they will go away for a while.
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.

I'm Thinking abotu picking up the larger siae to keep my stuff dry. 11 bucks isn't that bad for a dry box. if it like some of the ones we have a work they can be re-dried. http://www.desiccare.com/online-stor...bsorbents.html

Although I've never tried it, I've been told that DampRid works good. I bet it would be a good idea to keep some in the gun safe too.

It's available at Walmart SuperCenter, HEB, Kroger
