    Gator Hunting

    I am posting these pictures for my Brother-in-law Greg (Fish Nut).
    Back around 1980 the State Park wanted some gators taken out of the Lake so they took Bids from some Hunters in the area to kill 12 gators. Well Greg won the bid twice I think in 1980 and again in 1982.
    He would shoot them then strip and jump in and pick them up to the boat, as you can see in pic1

    For me going fishing is just about getting outdoors. Catching fish is just a bonus.

    MC, those are nice pictures. Did you ever jump in the water with one of those?

    I never went in But Greg finally stopped whenever he got slaped on the back with a tail and almost got his hand bit off.

    Give me a sense of humor, Lord;
    Give me the grace to see a joke,
    To get some humor out of life,
    And pass it on to other folk.

    Talking Gator

    You know when you are young, dumb and think you are bullet proof, you will do some crazy things. You couldn't pay me enough to do that again!
    The biggest gator we got was a 12'5" bull, he is the one on the table which he destroyed under his weight. oops
    Funny, I couldn't get any of the others to dive for those gators???? Guess they didn't watch as much Wild Kingdom on TV as I did.
