    THANKS TO OUR VETERAN`S

If someone has done military sevice they earn the title VETERAN and more
they earn our deep respect and admiration
that they are SPECIAL no one can ignore
they sacrified the comforts we enjoy
the list is long of all the things they gave
    our VETERAN`S are EXTRAORDINARY PEOPLE
they are LOYAL, DEDICATED, TRUE & BRAVE
we owe our FREEDOM to our VETERAN`S
they`re always in our HEARTS & our PRAYERS
and thiers no other that COMPARES

GOOD BLESS THESE MEN & WOMEN
    &
    GOD BLESS AMERICA

Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us. VETERANS are the ones who put it all on the line so we can be the greatest country in the world. Hopefully, we can keep it that way.

Cool A Poem from a young friend.

    My Veteran's Day poem
By: Claire Barrera, age 11, 2009
See the fear in the enemies’ eyes,
See the aircraft in the skies,
Feel the weight of the gun by your side,
Feel the shock, terror, and pride.
As you march, and fight, and bow your head to pray,
Remember who you are fighting for today,
Your country, your little girl, your cousin or wife,
We will always remember the way you risked your life.
    The way you stood tall,
When you just wanted to fall,
The way you steadied your gun,
And didn’t give up until you were done.
The way you knelt down to your best friend,
Whose life had come to a tragic end,
But he died proudly in trying to make us free,
In fighting and giving his life for victory.
You are more than a hero,
And it’s only right for you to know,
    That we thank you.
    God, Bless America!

Me- May God Bless us all and most of all the folks defending our way of life. Dave
Life is simpler when you plow around the stump.

My Mom and Dad were both in the AirForce serving during WW2,Korea & Vietnam. Although they are both with the Lord now, I would like to thank them and all other Veterans for the life I'm able to live and the freedom that I have. Miss You both and Thank you..
