This might be the appropriate venue for my introduction to Livingston. What is the date/location/etc?

Tentatively, I will plan to attend/participate.

Somebody PM "lets fish" and tell him about this (I just stumbled into this info).

Bgbluecat this muster will be hosted by Mr & Mrs. choo choo man. It will be at Wolf Creek Park March 11, 12, 13th on Lake Livingston. The park just opened yesterday for this year. He will have his trailer on site 33 and I reserved site 32. More info this weekend.

Everyone have a blast at the Muster,
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.

Where's the next closest campground? We just need to pitch a tent.

JonW I'll call them in the morning. I was told that Cajun Cooker tried to make a reservation and was told they were full. But the more I thought about it Cajun Cooker uses a camper. So maybe their tent sites are not all full. Anyway I'll call them in the morning.

    Z: Holiday Shores Marina
From Coldspring take Texas 156 north. Turn right on Hwy 224. Go 7 miles and turn right on Old Hwy 224, look for the marina sign.
One-lane ramp accommodates all boat types
    No fee required
Open every day in summer; Friday through Sunday only in winter
    Privately operated (936) 377-2696

The above site has camping. To see its location go to Livingston Info

Don, The boat ramp at Indian Creek Marina is silted in..I think you would be much better to use the public ramp at Holiday Shores. Another public ramp is at Point Blank (Old 190) but this is about 5 mi. N of Wolfe Creek & no camping.
