    Gas Prices

I've got an idea that may help a lot of us save a little money that adds up over time.

It just so happens that there are a lot of us from the east side of the Houston area from La Porte to Humble and Huffman. What do you think about keeping each other posted on gas prices? I know every dollar I can save on gas or diesel is another gallon I can put in my boat tank and go fishing.

    Here's what I saw today.

    Crosby Walmart (with gift card)
    Diesel 2.06
    Gas 1.88

Conoco in Highlands has diesel for 2.07.
Most places are 2.10-2.17 a gallon.

Anybody know what gas is at Atascocita Walmart? It's normally got everybody beat for some reason.

I frequent East Freeway, Baytown, Highlands, Crosby, Huffman, Atascocita, and leff frequently Humble.

Does anybody know what Wal-mart in Baytown's diesel is? It's generally 7-10 cents less than everybody else.

We are at 1.94 for regular at WM without the gas card. Makes a day on the lake kinda expensive doesn't it.

It appears Wal-mart in Crosby jumped to 1.98 overnight.

Racetrac was still $1.91 as of this morning.

Everything along the Beltway and East Freeway was $1.98 for unleaded and 2.11 for diesel.

Heard a radio program on KTRH that said get ready for 2.50 a gal by summer driving season and it probably will stay there and not come back down

I hope not that is way too expensive for my liking.
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.
