Favorite water is Richland Chambers for cats and second is Limestone for crappie and navasota river sometimes between mexia and groesbeck for either one.

I live in New Caney and I have a lot with boat house in Holiday Harbor on Lake Livuingston. It's my second home while staying in our RV
I guide part time on Livingston so it's my favorite fresh water lake and then Conroe
I love to fish Trinity bay for my saltwater pleassure.
I love to jig for white bass and for stripers.
I enjoy RR fishing for catfish, but also run a lot of set jugs.
And at last drift fishing is really hard to beat.
I love floating jugs in the early spring.

#1 lake is Conroe
#2 lake would have to be a toss up between Livingston and Sam Rayburn

I love to catch as well as eat catfish. I prefer to catch them on rod and reel but also set jug lines. I will occassionally fish for whites, hybrids, crappie and large mouth bass. Just gettin into the drifting aspect of catfishing and plan to learn a great deal more about it in the very near future.
