Yes I am allowed visitors, but their request was that I keep it to family.

I know, I know. FishingTX is a big family. I think the hospital meant my smaller family which includes things like wife and people from that family.

Please don't do it, but wouldn't it be a blast if about 10 or 15 of you came up here and said you were part of my direct family. They would probably want to keep me a little longer and introduce me to a mind doctor.

ANYWAY, the guess is that I will be able to leave around 4 PM today. It will be nice to get home and not have to deal with these nurses anymore.

I will let you know when I get home.

Well, I just received some good news and some bad news.

The good news is nurses and doctors haven't killed me yet.

The bad news is that my hymoglobin is low so I have to have a blood transfusion. Since I already have cancer, it takes a special type of blood that has to be ordered. That means that I may be OK to go home tomorrow.

I will let you know when I know more.

Hang in there Mr Rod I know how it is in the hospital. They will get you home soon and you will be able to get some good rest in your own bed. I know you can't get any rest in that place.
Take it easy on me.......Im new to this stuff!

    Friday 2-1-2013 (12:05 p.m.)

Just found out that my blood should be here in an hour or so. (Heard that before) After it arrives, I will get drip from bag #1 for about 4 hours and then from bag#2 I will get drip for another 4 hours.

There has been no conversation about me going home tomorrow. It will depend on the blood tests.

My blood has arrived and is hooked up. If they got this correct, this bag will last until about 7:15 p.m.

The second bag should be finished around 11:15 p.m.
