Some things to do with RITA

    Besides all the usuall,
where we live if the wind just blows alittle we lose electric.
    So, Here are some thoughts:
    No electric no waterwell....
fill the tub and all the sinks, that will be some water to flush the comodes.
Go #1 outside, save the water for important #2
If you have a boat in the drive, chalk it good and fill it with water, seriously, that may keep it from getting blowed around.
charge up all your boat batteries, they offer 12volt lights.
If you gots a chain saw, get it ready, you may need it to get around afterwards.
Wash up the clothes from the "dirty pile", add them to the clean pile, no electric, no washing machine.
If you don't have camp fuel and bottled water by now, good luck.
    charge up yer cell phones.
git your ID stuff ready just incase you need one of then famous FEMA cards.
This sounds silly, but also keep rope and life jackets in your vehicle in case you need to drive. that is self explanitory.

I stopped by supercenter in bryan last night and they were already out of C,D Batteries and Flash Lights. Bottled water is getting thin as well.
They are expecting winds in the 80-100+ mph range where we are, so everyone be prepared.
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.
