    My friend said there was fog but it happened later in the morning
    .
    News said it was mis communication on which way each one was going .

    Just another statistic supporting "driver's" licenses for boaters. I think it should be required just like a DMV driver's license. Every time I am on the water, I see idiots doing dangerous stuff on their boats. It's a wonder there aren't more reports like this one.
    I only sympathize with the family of the deceased.

    Both boats were going at least 45 mph, seems like rules of the waterway were not followed. No time to just shut the boats,I just have to catch the biggest bass right now. Sad situation for sure, Prayers for their families.

    When coming face to face with another boat always take to your Right side when coming up to a boat crossing your path the boat to the right has the right of way...very simple

    It's not quite that simple, G.
    I know people who would have to take their hands off the wheel ... imagine themselves writing ... just to determine which side is the "right" or "left" side.
