I have one gentleman that volunteered that is going to be great. He's a great fisherman, great boat, and he's excited to do it. I don't know the lakes around here at all but I plan on having fun and hope the kids do also. I'm very competitive by nature but definitely not too good at fishing. My son is much better so I'm blaming it all on him if he and his partner don't do well!

I did talk one guy in to being a boat captain for the first tournament. We have 13 students right now so one without a boat captain or a partner. I'm willing to offset his half of the tournament fees if I have to, assuming we find a boat captain for him. I'm hoping we can find him a partner.
I am hoping you can too bro. Sounds like a really great thing you are doing for these kids. Keep it up and please post the results so we can keep up as well.
Oh, my friend . What time is this . To trade the handshake for the fist

I am down to one student without a boat. I just need to cover the Lake Livingston tournament on October 1st right now, possibly have a boat captain for the other tournaments. If you can cover the Lake Livingston tournament please let me know. Thanks, I hate to have one kid out of 13 not be able to fish.

Great to see you working hard to keep the kids hooked on fishing.

Good luck with getting the last boat captain signed up.

Thanks, I appreciate it. Got the last kid covered and with a great boat captain. He's done it before quite a bit so he's familiar with the process and seems very glad to help out. I'm new to it all so learning as I go and with the help of others.

He should have included this with his original request

A lot of high schools have bass fishing clubs today, and all must have boat captains. A large responsibility, but a necessity.

    Good information WaldenFisher.
When is the best time to go fishing? Whenever you can go. Just do it!
