    Matagorda

    We fished Matagorda all weekend we caught 21 Big Black Drums smallest was 30 inches we also caught 60 Sand trout it was one heck of a fishing tripClick image for larger version.

    Good catch Gil, fresh sand trout are great table fare.

    Sounds like a great weekend trip to me. As stated by LD, the sand trout are pretty good table fare. I think you can make tacos out of em too.

    One cast of the net and you'd have bait for all day there! Nice catching Gilbert.. I think I may actually prefer the sand trout flavor to the speckled when fried.
