    Salty trip

It's been a while for me to hit the ole salty water. To be honest it's been a while since I did any fishing or hunting.

Well my buddy Mark and BFT ( George) and I all were able to get out and do a little salty fishing. We met our buddy Mark at the boat ramp. First order up was to catch some fresh bait ( mullet ). Gilbert don't get scared and faint at this part. Ha ha

We caught some mullet and off to the fishing spot. Each spot we stop that we caught a few fish there. We only kept a few for eating. Plenty more than shown the pictures.

We moved to a couple different spots. At one of the spots are hooked into a nice Spanish mackerel. It was fun to catch. Spanish Mackerel can put up a good fight.

Don't matter what kind of fish ... fishin'-n-catchin' is a great way to spend a day.

Thanks for the pictures. Been a long time since I did any salt water fishing. If I remember correctly, Spanish Mackerel are very oily ... most people don't eat them.

Haha. Yes I've been a bit of a workaholic.

I did sneak out without him. I told him I had to go work. Lol.
