Good luck Gil. I have never been there. What y'all plan on fishing for?

There are plenty of big white bass there. Sand bars and chartruse are most common things. Knock them dead Gil.
Fished it many years ago when I lived further east in Texas. Had some success but not like I've had here on san jac.
I have seen some great reports coming from there though this year. Better so far than what I've seen in the areas we hit around here.
Good luck, Gil! Take us some pics to look at!
Oh, my friend . What time is this . To trade the handshake for the fist
I'll take pictures for sure...we're fishing with crayfish

Crawfish for white bass?
Sounds like aaahhh goo run......juss sayn.....LOL
Good luck Gil.....yeah take some pics....
My Dad lived in Joaquin (near the Sabine River just north of Toledo Bend). We fished the Sabine many times and small crawfish (about 2" was best) was our preferred bait. If we used artificial bait, we mainly used roadrunners (orange head/white body).
Good judgement is a result of experience. Experience is often the result of bad judgement.
Good luck Gil., use to fish with crawfish for trout and steelhead and it seems to be a great bait for most anything. Good thing about crawfish is that you can eat what you don't use. They should make great
