    Luce Bayou Deadly Boating Accident

I just got word there was a deadly accident between a ski boat & a Jon boat that ejected the small boat occupant & his dog & neither has been recovered as of yet.

    Is everyone here ok?

Folks we have to wear or PFD's....Think of your families....

Seem we can't depend on common sense/courtesy & will need a law to control everyone's speed in curves & right areas in the bayou & river.....

Wish they would ban those dang ski boats from all of the highly fished areas, maybe restrict them from everywhere except the main lake.....

Here's a couple pics from channel 2...sad day for sure....

I'm not one that want govment but we have all seen this coming, I've seen several close calls so to protect everyone yes we need a speed limit & also boater education....

****. I hate to read that. A prayer for all involved. I hope it is not any of the Fishingtx people involved.

I also hate to hear this. I was always a bit nervous being on a lake in the open areas. We would usually cross and hit the creeks. I've seen a few close calls.
These folks will be in my thoughts.
