    Flatfish redemption

BFT and I were taking about the whoopin we took the other day. We planned and figuring out what went wrong. It was tough to get skunked.

We looked at tide charts, reports, social media ,fellow fisherman and the Internet to research what we could do to catch fish.

We figured lets hit the same place and try and redeem ourselves. Our plan of action was to hit it hard with all we had. Two rods each with one rigged with live bait and the other with artificial. We get there and start fishing. Alternate between both rods. BFT started out fast and was pulling in flounder fast. Took me a little while to get into gear. I tried live bait figuring I'd catch my limit fast and switch to artificial. I couldn't buy a bite. Lol. I started with artificial and hooked up with my first keeper. Action slowed down again so I figured I toss a live bait out and fish with artificial at same time. That became difficult to do cause fish started biting left and right. Lol. Live bait was getting me small ones. They were Keepers just small.

BFT and myself were pretty pleased with ourselves. We caught our two- two man limit with 17-20inch fish. Caught enough to fill the normal 5 fish limit if it was not November.

Killa you would be proud we fished hard with artificial lures to get these fishys.

Here are some pics from trip

Not all fish we caught were keepers. Just as fun to catch tho.

Getting close to two man limit. Smaller one in pic was replaced with much bigger one a little later. It was still alive when we swapped it out. There was an older couple next to us and we asked them if the wanted it. The happily accepted it.
