I want to thank all the veterans for giving some, recently i had the blessing of meeting up with a high school buddy who served in viet nam as a crew chief and door gunner on a gunship.it affected his life greatly as i am sure it affected you but he is proud to go fight to keep this country free. Many never returned and many returned with severe mental and physical issues .
So thus is why i say ,"THANK YOU"

Osterkamp served in the Army from 1951 to 1953, during which he experienced heavy combat in Korea with his unit, the C Company, 5th Regimental Combat Team.
