life is not so good but what else is new

I had to put Peanut down today and the VA informed me that I will be set up for prostrate removal surgery in the next few weeks/months. Cancer 4 times is getting old.

Sorry to hear about losing your best friend.
Cancer is hard to deal with. LeaAnn and I will keep you in our prayers.
For me going fishing is just about getting outdoors. Catching fish is just a bonus.

A lot of men deal with this type of cancer. Get it done and move on. There will be plenty time afterwards to enjoy what you love to do. I had mine over 10 years ago and I am glad I did.

Had mine removed 19 years ago and also glad I did. Takes a while to heal, but worth it.

I'm very familiar with cancer. kidney removed in '99 Renal Cell Cancer, '03 Lymphoma non Hodgkin chemo&radiation, 07 Lymphoma non Hodgkin chemo, 09 maintence dose of chemo every 3 months for 2 years. 2019 Prostarte Cancer. I've dealt with it now going on 20 years.
I had owned Peanut for 14+ years and it was the hardest thing I've ever done to put him down.
