Drove through this on my way home from work. Several vehicles had pulled over or turned around. The rain was blinding. When I got about a mile away, it was perfectly calm. This was the closest I have ever been to a tornado. Truly amazing.

It did some damage to the country club and I only heard of one injury.
Thanks for turning the photo vettO. I found a video clip that actually shows me driving down the road at the end. I will attempt to post it in a bit.

The video is recorded by someone else who had pulled over to the side of the road. I just happened to pass by at the end. The video contains some salty language. I can't post that stuff here and wouldn't want to.
It's on YouTube. Kemp TX tornado. 1 minute 8 seconds. I'm the guy in the gray Mini Cooper at the end.
I will turn 51 years old tomorrow, God willing. This is the coolest thing I've ever seen in my life.

Yes Ben, that was me in the little Mini Cooper. Gotta admit, I was using some rather salty language myself.
