    Did you know or not know info on former US presidents from MSN. Facts? Legends? In the the world of politics, it is anyones guess.

    The 6th US president, John Q. Adams, customarily went skinny-dipping in the Potomac River before dawn.

    John Tyler, 10th US presient fathered 15 children (more than one mother). His 15th child was born when Tyler was past his 70th birthday.

    The 11th president, James Polk, survived gall bladder surgery at the age of 17, sedated only by brandy.

    The only unmarried president? The 15th, James Buchanan.

    The 16th president, Abe Lincoln, carried letters, bills, and notes in his signature tall black stovepipe hat.

    The 17th US president, Andrew Johnson, never attended school. His wife taught him to write at the age of 17.

    Both ambidextrous and multilingual, the 20th president James Garfield, could write Greek with one hand while writing Latin with the other.

    Grover Cleveland, 22nd and 24th president, underwent a secret operation aboard a yacht to remove his cancerous upper jaw in 1893.

    The teddy bar derived from the 26th president, "Teddy" Roosevelt, refusal to shoot a bear with her cub while hunting in Mississippi.

    Warren Harding, 29th US president, played poker at least twice a week and once gambled away an entire set of White House china. His advisors were nicked named the "Poker Cabinet".

    FDR, the 32nd president, was related either by blood or marriage to 11 former presidents.

    The full middle name of the 33rd president, Harry S Truman, is the letter "S". It represents both of his grandfathers, which had the letter "S" in both there names.

    The 34th US president, Dwight D. Eisenhower loved to cook; he developed a vegetable soup recipe that was 894 words long and included ingredients like the stem of the nasturtium flower.

    I can hear my 8th grade english teacher ... "Idle hands are the devils work shop."

    I also made up 5 new jugs ... the "weather delay" was not a complete loss.
