    Welcome to FishingTx
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.

Work is a way to support a fishing habit and for those who do not know how to fish.

    BigDave,

That 22" flattie (first fish caught on my BillyStix rod) went home, but he was in somebody else's cooler, LOL! It was caught during a PACK gathering (Paddling Anglers in Canoes and Kayaks). We were having a fish fry that night so I kept the flounder. Turns out there was enough trout caught to feed everyone. I don't like to clean and cook fish (don't beat me up!) so I gave that luscious fish to someone else. I'm sure it was delicious!
