unofficialyy last gatherin ben caught a 16 pounder and had to beat his own record , next trip in he breacks the weekends record again with a 28 pounder so we had to break that one with a 32 pounder, it almost got broke again in da middle of the night by a bigun draggin a log and straightenin out hooks, we didnt even count the 6-8 pounders, pretty good chavce yall will get em over 3 pounds :shock:
That sounds great? I will be happy with a baby cat much less one over 3lbs. Look at my sig and it says it all. LOL. The last time I went fishing was in July at White Rock Creek in Riverside with my Dad and we didn`t eve get a bite. I am very excited about the gathering and can`t wait to meet you guys. What part of whit rock creek? saw a 65lb flat caught from the upper end around trinity.Where that big flat rack is.
I`m not real familar with the area but it was just down from a Hwy bridge near a big rock that sat in the middle of the river. We were paddeling so we didn`t go very far past the rock were the creek opens up a bit. My Dad said that if we would have went down on the other side of the bridge we would have hit the Trinity river. Or maby he said Lake Livingston not the Trinity.
