    snake ????

    didnt know where to put this but does anyone know what kind of snake this is and i know dead. poor anthony my 16yr old boy was walking to back door reaching for handle and this snake was 1/2 up the door on knob and head was going to the top boy jumped back i thought a bee got him so then he was carrying it on a shovel to the back and saw a smaller one and killed it also. SORRY FOR ALL THE SNAKE LOVERS I HATE THEM !!!!! high water gotta love it


    oh it had a diamond shaped head

    the head is in the right picture small piece by big leaf other than that i aint going to find it its dark out there yea and big ole boys get scared

    If you look back at a thread about Day Lake from Gentle Ben, you'll see the pictures of the Texas Rat Snake we saw on that trip. Although I can't see enough of this one to be sure, it looks to be the same kind. The Texas Rat Snake only lives in this area ... sorry to see this one killed.

    I'm pretty sure its a rat snake. Saw one last weekend with sister.
