I fished most of the day (Wednesday) down at Matty and one of the most beautiful blue bird day I could remember as I started my wade, I took a knee ( I don’t do this all the time but I just felt the need) and I made my peace for the day of fishing plus a add a little extra prayer for my father not to suffer anymore. I wonder if God had heard my prayer and told my dad it was ok to go. I don’t know.

I received a call around 1am this morning (Thursday), the person on the other side, told me that my dad had passed on he went to sleep and stop breathing,

Dad had been in a battle for most of this year with his heart, lungs and kidneys and they finally won, he was 72 and 1 week old,

I will be taking him on our last fishing trip next week down at the coast.

God has got himself on heck of a fishing buddy
