Anybody been wading the surf lately? Seems like every time I want to hit the surf, conditions are well below par. I usually hit the stretch of beaches around Surfside, or wade down under the bridge.

I haven't been in the surf but went to the Galveston pier about a week ago and the water looked like mud. Caught a few small fish but no one on the pier was catching any keepers.
A friend of mine said the surf laid down today
Yeah, I saw from the gulf cams that the surf was laying down, and looks like its trying to green up some. thanks for the feedback gentlemen! Tight lines.

Caught these specks on 7-22-07 in the Gulf in 3ft of water using A TopDog Jr.
nice trout.can't beat it on tops.
theres room for all gods creatures,
right next to the mashed taters.
