First time out with MudCat Flagging Jugs.

I took ten jugs out on Lake conroe on 3/4/04 and caught 16 cats. Most of which were 2 lb. range Channel cats. On 3/5/04 I got out to Lake Houston around 9 a.m (a little late). I was able to pick up 24 cats 2-4 lb. range. I caught most of them in 13 - 16 ft. of water. I used 16 jugs on 3/5/04. I started off with 8 jugs north of the 1960 bridge and 8 south of the bridge. I caught 12 fish on the first run of the jugs south of the bridge and 1 north of the bridge. Needless to say. I ended the day with 16 jugs south of the bridge. I did find a really nice 30 ft. hole that goes from 16 to 30 ft. rather quick. I would like to try that hole early one morning with some live perch for bait. Mudcats jugs work well.

    Mudcat Jugs

They worked really well in the early morning. The wind came up in the afternoon. They would flag a little premature due to the large waves. I adjusted the foam closer to the string tie off. It worked better. When the waves get to the white capping point. There is not a lot anyone can do about it. I would say in my opinion. The jugs work well and are a lot of fun. I was looking to see if I could make it to the fish-a-thon, but I do not remember the date you told me?

If you could build me 10 of them. Let me know when they are ready. I will meet you at the lake one day and get them. No hurry at all.
