Crappie Q & A

All right guys n gals, yall gave me alot of good tips for winter time crappie that worked good. I caught fish all 3 or 4 times i went. Never a limit but enough for a meal. So now that spring is upon us, i need tips and tactic help again. I am just starting to take crappie fshing serious now that i have caught a few more. Any spring time tips will be greatly appriciated. take care yall

I don't know a thing about crappie,but if you can listen to the radio on Saturday morning there is a program that usually has interviews with at least one Lake Conroe fishing guide. 88.3 fm at 7 a.m.

when the dog wood trees bloom go to any bank w/ a little cover use a bobber about 6in deep . start in march

I could be wrong but I think that age old adage is about the white bass run being in full bloom. I think the crappie move shallow a little later

Scott Im gonna have to agree Ive always heard it was the starting for Crappie when the dog woods bloom, but that could be a Arky thing ha ha
