Matt and I set out on Friday to do some jugging on Lake Conroe. We were only going go stay long enough to set out and then come home as I am taking food to the park this morning for the less fortunate and the homeless. We got most of our jugs set when I noticed one standing straight up. When checked it was a 44#Blue. Next up was a 27#er and then a couple of box fish. Then another one standing up. Matt grabs the line and says to me "Oh this thing is heavy" so up it came and in the boat with a new best for me a 46# blue. We made it through the line once and I thought my count was off so we headed back through the jugs to do a head count before we left. One, two, three "Oh what that one doing way over there by itself?" I told Matt that usually means that it had a motor attached to it. Upon inspection it revealed a 28# Blue and it was now about 0100, well so much for leaving early. We finished the count and headed for the dock and I got home around 0200. Jeff is suppose to go back with me this afternoon and run and rebait the line who knows what we will catch. To be continued...... John <*{{{>(
