I've been trying to remember this little ditty but couldn't so I did a search and came up with it. I also found about 6 pages of weather prediction signs. I won't post them here because it's so long but if you're interested drop me a Private Message with an email address and I will send it to you.
When the wind is in the North
The skillful fisher goes not forth.
When the wind is in the East
This is good neither for man nor beast.
When the wind is in the South
It blows the bait in the fish's mouth.
When the wind is in the West = There is the Very Best.
Remember; there are exceptions to every rule...ha ha ha
