Thanks for the warm welcome guy's. I'm not new to fishing but it's been a long time, I found this place while surfing the web looking at anything to do with Texas and fishing. I've lived close to lake Houston for 9 years ( originally from Odessa ) so I guess it's about time I got a boat. I gave up bow hunting this year due to the high coast and putting kids through College, so I sold the pop-up camper and bought a nice little bass boat that I'm fixing up. I would like get into some Crappie and Catfish here on Lake Houston and maybe some Bow fishing for carp, gar and tilapia too. Thanks.
