Information I have seen said there was less than 2,000 of them world wide and 200 a year registered in the US. I had seen a few of them and always considered them most unique but after reading about them I find they are even more unique than just in looks.
This small herd in Athens, are the first ones I have seen in many years. most of the people I talked to about them had never seen or heard of Dutch Banded cattle.
