Been out of town

Had to go back to Odessa this past weekend. I went to a class reunion and it was the worst time ever, but that's another story.
We stopped by a couple of lakes on the way just to check them out as we passed. Didn't take any photos though, they weren't worth the trouble. Everything out there in the west is dry, dry, dry and the lakes are low. Even the cattle had their own canteens.
The skies were beautiful though, I have to give them that and the sunsets were spectacular too! I miss those most of all. When we left the wind was blowing and I don't miss that at all!

Like always I am glad to be home again.

No water and the wind are two things I don't miss about Odessa. But, you are right about the sky. Maybe Montana is called Big Sky Country, but it doesn't have anything on the West Texas sky, especially at sunrise and sunset, though at night with all the stars.
