Thank you all, for your thoughts and wishes on this, my 49th Birthday. I had to work today, but I did take off from work a few hours early yesterday. I went fishing, what else. I spent about 30 minutes, just after getting on the water, running upstream to avoid a big thunder storm. Then fought the wind for an hour while catching nothing. I then had to run for another 30 minutes to avoid another storm cell. Fished for another hour catching only one small Bass. I guess the fish weren't informed it was my birthday. (Or they were getting ready for today, and I was a day early ... that might be what happened)
Anyway, it's great to still be able to get out there ... at my age. No offense to the "elders" in here. It's also great to know a group of friends like y'all.

Mikechell they must not of got the birthday notice must of been lost with the magazine subscription that you had dropped in the lake. They just havent made it to that article. bwahahahah. That sure was funny that day on 'Ole Sam.

Yeah, Scott. That was a great day. Oh, the magazine subscription drop works intermittently here. Lately, I think the articles have been on hunting, so the bass are confused ... yeah, that must be it.
