Thanks for the birthday wishes...oh, to be 21 and know what I know now. As for fishing, I took a look at the W. Fork this p.m. Its a full bank right now with the water flowing fast. Hopefully, I'll be able to get out Saturday or Sunday.

Strange thing about my birthdays. Since about 25 years ago, I've spent a good portion in a doctor's office or in the hospital. The day my gall bladder was removed...the old fashioned 9" incision way, it was my birthday. Today, I was at the clinic having blood drawn.

At least today it wasn't for me, but the rest of you, especially if you smoked. I'm part of the control group for a lung cancer study. I never smoked. They are trying to determine if there is anything different about non-smokers and smokers who do not get lung cancer and those who do. Long-term study, they do a follow-up in 5 years...hopefully, I'll be around.
