I heard that Cigars work well too. I've never tried it, but I can see the concept.

I have used cigars for several years to keep the moisture under control, my dad showed me that when i was just starting out. Seems to work really well and if the mosquitos get really bad you can fire it up they will go away for a while.

I'm Thinking abotu picking up the larger siae to keep my stuff dry. 11 bucks isn't that bad for a dry box. if it like some of the ones we have a work they can be re-dried. http://www.desiccare.com/online-store/scstore/shop_large_absorbents.html

Although I've never tried it, I've been told that DampRid works good. I bet it would be a good idea to keep some in the gun safe too.
