Thanks again for the welcome. Most of my fishing takes place back behind the house here in Irion Co. Spring Creek flows by my place and the boys and I have frequent cut-throat tournaments back there. We catch fair amounts of 3-5# fish with the occasional 6-7#er and my 18 yr olds personal best, an 8 1/2#er. Fish catch and release for bass and once a year we do a catfish weekend to get a mess for the fryer. The creek at my place is not big enough to hold a sustainable level of cats if fished more than that.

We occasionally leave the burrow and head out to Amistad or to the local lakes around San Angelo. Bank and wade fishers R Us. We are in the process of procurring a plastic navy, so that should open up our choices.
