Woke up this morning to go to work and noticed my neck was sore. Looked in the mirror and noticed my neck was swollen and two knots under my chin. The pain was quite bad so I decided to go to a dr. Grrrr. Waited in the waiting room for 4 hrs before going back. They stuck me in four places trying to find a good vein. Dr told me he really didn't know wat was wrong but 7+ blood tests should give some kind of idea. If not its possibly something else. So I left sore all over knowin the same thing as wen I went in. Only now lighter pockets and both arms are sore. Wat a day!

Some green pills that r antibiotics and some liquid that's supposta b a piankiller. I don't know the name right off the top of my head

frome the sound of that.....i'm sorry to say you don't have a really good painkiller there bud.....
it's really painful to have your glands swollen, and even more so when it's in the facial area.....
take all those antibiotics until they're all gone too.....even if you begin to feel better YOU MUST FINISH THEM ALL.....this will prevent subsequent rejection from antibiotics if and when you need to use them again....

i will pray that you have a speedy recovery....

My son woke up like that. He had mononucleoises aka THE KISSING DISEASE. Good luck with that. He woke up and his glands looked like two golf balls. Hope that's not what you look like. It took him a couple of days before the swelling went down. Sad thing is once you get mono you never actually get rid of it. He has to be real careful around sore throats. I have to give him a lil extra TLC.

I had my jaw swell up several years ago. Lymph glands or something were swollen. It didn't really hurt and dint go to the doctor but it went away in a week or so and no problems since. I hope it works the same for you.

Well the verdict is in. Mono, episomething virus, and my triglycerides are 922. Supposta b under 150. Gave me two different meds and said come back in 6 wks. But also said if tri things don't come down I could have a stroke, heartattack, or cause pancreatic shock. O have I said, I HATE THE DRS OFFICE

Yea. But my will power is strong. I quit dippin after bout 12 yrs just cold turkey. Quit drugs and alchohol same way. If I say I'm gonna do it, consider it done.

i believe it is mono nucleolus that is the kissing disease and if he had that they would be quarantining the whole family that stuff is highly contagious well what ever ya got i will send up a prayer for your quick recovery and listen to your doctor about the tri's cause that stuff will kill ya quicker then the kissing disease..... take yer medicene like a good boy and go fishin bwahaaaaaaahahaha:cheers: oh yea and leave them donuts and baked goods alone for awhile they swim in triglyceride
