Thanks for the welcome. I am a 50 something guy just getting into boating again. Been stuck on the bank for 20 years. Bought an 20 foot 1987 pontoon boat and just finished restoring it.

Been hitting Lake Houston at least once a week for the past month. Starting to jug/noodle fish some. What a blast. Cought 25 cats by 1960 last week.

Will be trying Lake Livingston in a few weeks and am packing the jugs. Now to just find some shad.

Thanks again guys. I am a shift worker (at least for a few more years). I will try to get out on the lake on a week day. My wife and 15 year old grandson Tyler are my fishing partners. We also will have a 4 year old greyhound with us sometimes as she does not like to stay home. She has been out on the boat several times now and just make her self right at home. Had a boat load on Saturday with my daughters family. May need to get a bigger boat. Sill managed to pull in 10 nice cats.

Sounds good. You need to start posting some of your fishing trips for the rest of us who don't get out on a regular basis.

Put them under the location where you fish and take a picture or two. The members will thank you.

Great to see you got out. Greyhounds are cool dogs.
